Mark 2:27 "The Seventh Day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God."

Mark 2:28 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Genesis 2:1-3… Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: (because that in it he had rested from all his work) which God created and made.

And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none. And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws? See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

Exodus 20:8-11… Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore The LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

The 10 commandments were instituted at Creation. God then gave the Ten Commandments to Moses on Mount Sinai and set them in stone. So, this actually was the second time. Here not only did God bless the Sabbath…He hallowed it. In other words, God set the seventh day apart and sanctified it unto Himself…He made it Holy unto the Lord.

Exodus 16:23 And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.

Exodus 16:25 And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day ye shall not find it in the field.

Exodus 16:26 Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.This went on for 40 years and Sabbath was kept without (any "NEW MOON")

Exodus 16:29 See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

Exodus 31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Exodus 31:16 Wherefore the children of Israel (believers) shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

Leviticus 16:31 It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute forever.

Leviticus 24:8 Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.

Isaiah 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

Isaiah 58:14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Ezekiel 22:26 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: (they have put no difference between the holy and profane), neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

Let us ask ourselves a question here. Are we Today still supposed to keep the Sabbath?

Isaiah 66:22-23… For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall "all" flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. (certainly this is in the future, it also applies to now )!

"Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, … every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer … for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people."

Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. Exodus 31:13

It is a sign between me and the children of Israel (believers) forever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. Exodus 31:17

Moreover also I gave them my Sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them. Ezekiel 20:12

And hallow my Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.

It was bad enough when the Pontifex Maximus system openly displayed itself to the world as being the priest-“god”-king human representative of the “Sun”, the false and pagan god that was always worshiped and every man made world kingdom was dedicated to.
